Job Title: SAP Supply Chain Functional Lead
Location: Oshawa, ON(Hybrid – 2 days remote)

Job Overview
Ontario Power Generation (OPG) is seeking an experienced SAP Supply Chain Functional Lead to guide the design, deployment, and optimization of SAP Supply Chain Management (SCM) solutions. In this key leadership role, you will oversee a team of functional consultants and analysts, partner with business stakeholders, and collaborate with technical teams to ensure supply chain processes are fully optimized within the SAP ecosystem. Your leadership will support OPG’s Strategic Transformation Roadmap (STR), driving operational excellence, compliance, and measurable business value.

Key Responsibilities
Leadership & Solution Delivery
  • Lead end-to-end design, configuration, and implementation of SAP SCM modules (MM, SD, PP, WM, EWM, Ariba, etc.) in alignment with business needs and industry best practices.
  • Provide functional leadership, mentoring, and direction to supply chain consultants and analysts.
  • Manage supply chain workstreams, ensuring delivery of high-quality solutions on schedule.
  • Act as the primary contact for supply chain design decisions, issues, and escalations.
Business Process Optimization & Stakeholder Engagement
  • Translate complex business requirements into scalable SAP-enabled solutions.
  • Conduct fit-gap analysis, process mapping, and solution prototypes to enable continuous operational improvement.
  • Facilitate workshops, training, and knowledge transfer for business users and process owners.
  • Ensure adherence to internal controls, compliance, and OPG governance standards.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to identify opportunities for transformation and value creation.
Project Management & Agile Execution
  • Work closely with project managers, scrum masters, and cross-functional teams to deliver supply chain workstreams successfully.
  • Participate in agile ceremonies, sprint planning, and continuous improvement activities.
  • Support testing cycles, defect management, and cutover planning for SAP SCM implementations.
  • Track progress, risks, and issues related to functional deliverables.
Continuous Learning & Thought Leadership
  • Stay current with SAP S/4HANA supply chain innovations and industry trends.
  • Promote best practices and share insights across SAP and OPG supply chain communities.
  • Proactively identify opportunities to enhance processes, tools, and solution quality.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Business, IT, or related discipline.
  • 8+ years of SAP Supply Chain experience (MM, SD, PP, WM, EWM, Ariba), including configuration and implementation.
  • Proven leadership of SAP supply chain solutions within S/4HANA or ECC environments.
  • Strong understanding of core supply chain processes: procurement, logistics, inventory, planning, and order fulfillment.
  • Demonstrated team leadership, coaching, and stakeholder management capabilities.
  • Experience with SAP Activate and agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban).
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communications skills.
  • SAP certifications are an asset.
  • Experience with SAP Fiori, SAP Analytics tools, or data migration is considered beneficial.
