Position Summary
Ontario Power Generation (OPG) is seeking a Manager, Regulatory Affairs to support its rate application submission process with the Ontario Energy Board (OEB). This is not a nuclear-specific role; rather, it focuses on managing the logistics, documentation, and coordination required to deliver high-quality regulatory submissions under tight deadlines.
Reporting to the Director and Vice President of Regulatory Affairs, this position will lead the project coordination and strategic alignment of internal and external stakeholders, ensuring that all evidence and documentation is properly prepared, reviewed, and submitted according to regulatory timelines and standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate and manage logistics, timelines, and deliverables for OPG’s regulatory rate application to the Ontario Energy Board.
  • Work closely with Regulatory Affairs and Business Unit teams to compile, organize, and review documentation and evidence in preparation for submission.
  • Ensure all materials meet required style, structure, and referencing guidelines—providing direct edits and feedback to contributors.
  • Act as a key point of contact for managing sensitive information, including oversight of document sharing through internal systems and secure external SharePoint portals.
  • Liaise with external regulatory stakeholders, including OEB staff and intervenors, to facilitate communication, documentation exchange, and application compliance.
  • Provide strategic input on regulatory positioning and participate in meetings, discussions, and hearings as needed.
  • Support data integration, financial analysis, planning, and communication strategies related to regulatory affairs.
  • Maintain oversight of multiple concurrent deliverables and stakeholders, ensuring timely and accurate submissions.
Qualifications
  • Proven project management experience, ideally within a regulatory or highly structured corporate environment.
  • Strong ability to manage multiple stakeholders and high volumes of information under strict deadlines.
  • Prior experience working with regulatory or licensing bodies (e.g., Ontario Energy Board or similar entities) is strongly preferred.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; capable of engaging with internal teams and external agencies at all organizational levels.
  • Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail in documentation and process management.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly SharePoint for managing document collaboration and external access.
