Manager, Regulatory Affairs
Job Description
Duration: 18 Months
Location: 700 University Avenue, Toronto (100% Onsite)
- Coordinate and manage logistics, timelines, and deliverables for OPG’s regulatory rate application to the Ontario Energy Board.
- Work closely with Regulatory Affairs and Business Unit teams to compile, organize, and review documentation and evidence in preparation for submission.
- Ensure all materials meet required style, structure, and referencing guidelines—providing direct edits and feedback to contributors.
- Act as a key point of contact for managing sensitive information, including oversight of document sharing through internal systems and secure external SharePoint portals.
- Liaise with external regulatory stakeholders, including OEB staff and intervenors, to facilitate communication, documentation exchange, and application compliance.
- Provide strategic input on regulatory positioning and participate in meetings, discussions, and hearings as needed.
- Support data integration, financial analysis, planning, and communication strategies related to regulatory affairs.
- Maintain oversight of multiple concurrent deliverables and stakeholders, ensuring timely and accurate submissions.
- Proven project management experience, ideally within a regulatory or highly structured corporate environment.
- Strong ability to manage multiple stakeholders and high volumes of information under strict deadlines.
- Prior experience working with regulatory or licensing bodies (e.g., Ontario Energy Board or similar entities) is strongly preferred.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; capable of engaging with internal teams and external agencies at all organizational levels.
- Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail in documentation and process management.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly SharePoint for managing document collaboration and external access.
