Job Overview
Key Responsibilities:
SAP BW Production Support:
- Monitor and maintain SAP BW systems to ensure seamless operation of HR & Finance reports.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to SAP BW extractions, transformations, and reporting.
- Provide timely resolution for production incidents and defects.
System Enhancement Support:
- Collaborate with business users to understand requirements for enhancements.
- Design, develop, and implement changes to improve SAP BW processes.
- Perform testing and validation of new developments before deployment.
- Provide technical assessment and consulting services when needed.
BW Performance Tuning:
- Analyze system performance and identify bottlenecks.
- Optimize data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes.
- Enhance query performance by implementing best practices in SAP BW.
Collaboration & Documentation:
- Work closely with functional and technical teams to align solutions with business needs.
- Document issues, resolutions, and enhancements for future reference.
- Provide end-user training and support when necessary.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications & Experience:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Experience: 8+ years of experience in SAP BW support and development.
Technical Skills:
- Strong knowledge of SAP BW architecture, data modeling, and ETL processes.
- Experience with BW on HANA or BW/4HANA is a plus.
- Proficiency in BEx Query Designer, Analysis for Office, and SAP Analytics Cloud tools.
- Good understanding of HR and Finance data structures in SAP.
- Experience with ABAP for BW enhancements is an advantage.
- Experience with SAP Business Planning & Consolidation (BPC) on HANA is a plus.
Soft Skills:
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks.
Preferred Certifications:
- SAP Certified Application Associate - SAP BW/4HANA
