Job Overview: 
The Trucking Operations Representative (TOR) serves as the primary point of contact for 3rd party carriers, representing the Company Truck Logistics group. This role ensures safe, reliable, and efficient trucking operations while collaborating with internal teams and carrier partners. The TOR is responsible for managing carrier relationships, addressing operational challenges, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives. This position requires strong communication, initiative, and analytical skills, with a focus on process efficiency and safety.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Act as the main contact for 3rd party carriers, representing the Company Truck Logistics group.
  • Ensure safe and reliable transportation operations, meeting company and regulatory standards.
  • Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders and external partners to resolve issues and ensure smooth operations.
  • Monitor and improve trucking processes with a continuous improvement mindset.
  • Work autonomously, taking initiative and responsibility for operational tasks and problem-solving.

Skills and Knowledge:
  • Strong communication and relationship management skills with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently and take initiative in problem-solving.
  • Analytical skills with a process-driven approach and a continuous improvement mindset.
  • Advanced knowledge of Power BI for data analysis and reporting.
  • Knowledge of SAP is an asset.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Understanding of safety regulations and compliance requirements in trucking operations.

Experience and Education:
  • Preferred candidate must have post-secondary education.
  • Previous logistics or transportation experience is an asset.
  • Bilingual (English / French) is an asset.
