Change Communications Specialist
Job Description
- Collaborate with IT Strategy and project teams to understand objectives, key messages, and desired outcomes.
- Develop, design, and refine executive presentations, infographics, and visual storytelling materials.
- Draft, review, and edit technical and business content for reports, strategy documents, and executive summaries.
- Translate complex technical concepts into clear, concise, and engaging messaging for non-technical audiences.
- Support internal communications initiatives, including newsletters, intranet updates, and multimedia materials.
- Develop targeted communications for audiences impacted by change initiatives.
- Ensure all materials adhere to brand guidelines and maintain a professional, polished appearance.
- Gather and analyze feedback to continuously improve communication effectiveness and engagement.
- Manage multiple projects and deadlines, prioritizing tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Participate in change management and adoption activities, supporting workshops, training, and knowledge transfer.
- Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Business, Information Technology, Graphic Design, or a related field.
- 4–6 years of experience in business communications, technical writing, presentation development, or change management, preferably in a technology or consulting environment.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint, with a strong portfolio of visually compelling presentations.
- Strong design skills and familiarity with visual storytelling and executive-level communications.
- Experience managing content in Content Management Systems (e.g., SharePoint, WordPress) is an asset.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to tailor messaging for diverse audiences.
- Experience supporting organizational change or transformation initiatives is preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to measure and improve communication effectiveness using feedback or engagement metrics.
- Knowledge of digital accessibility best practices is an asset.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Expertise in change communications and stakeholder engagement
