Description du poste :
En tant que membre d'un groupe spécialisé au sein de l'équipe d'ingénierie, vous soutiendrez un programme d'avions commerciaux en tant qu'ingénieur de conception spécialisé dans le soutien en service.
Principales responsabilités :
- Évaluer les dommages structurels de l'avion.
- Répondre aux situations d'immobilisation d'aéronefs (AOG) et aux demandes d'ingénierie des clients.
- Vous êtes en charge de la conception et de la mise en œuvre des systèmes de gestion de l'information et de la communication.
- Proposer des solutions de réparation conformes aux réglementations sectorielles et aux exigences des clients.
- Travailler en étroite collaboration avec le département des contraintes et d'autres spécialistes tels que Aero, Matériaux & Processus.
- Préparer des rapports de conception en anglais à des fins de certification.
- Concevoir des réparations génériques pour les structures métalliques et composites.
- Participer à la conception et au soutien des modifications structurelles
Vous êtes le candidat idéal :
- Vous êtes titulaire d'un baccalauréat en génie mécanique ou aérospatial.
- Vous avez un minimum de cinq (5) ans d'expérience pertinente dans les réparations pour l'industrie aérospatiale (en service, MAP/MRB).
- Vous avez une bonne connaissance de CATIA V5, d'Enovia et « PLM Configuration »
- Vous avez une excellente connaissance de la structure des aéronefs.
- Vous êtes à l'aise dans la remise en question des réparations de structures d'aéronefs.
- Vous avez de bonnes capacités d'analyse et de résolution de problèmes.
- Vous êtes une personne énergique, dotée d'excellentes compétences en matière de communication et de relations interpersonnelles, d'un sens élevé de l'engagement et d'une volonté d'accepter des responsabilités tout en agissant de manière indépendante dans un environnement d'équipe de partenaires/fournisseurs soumis à une forte pression.
- Vous avez une connaissance des logiciels MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).
- Vous avez de solides compétences en matière de communication écrite et orale en anglais. Le français est un atout.
- Une connaissance détaillée des opérations, de l'ingénierie et de la maintenance des compagnies aériennes est un atout.

Design Engineer
Mirabel (hybrid 3 – days a week)
As a part of a specialized group within the engineering team, you will be supporting a commercial aircraft program in the capacity of Design Engineer specialist for In-service support.
Key responsibilities:
- Assess the structural damage to the aircraft.
- Respond to aircraft grounded (AOG) situations and customer engineering requests.
- Investigate the cause of in-service problems, resolve source of failures and find effective and innovative solutions.
- Propose repair solutions that align with sector regulations and customer requirements.
- Work in close collaboration with the design authorities (DA & DAD) and subject matter experts (SME) in stress, Aero, Materials & Processes.
- Prepare design reports in English for certification purposes.
- Design generic structural repairs for metallic and composite structures.
- Participate in the design and support of structural modifications.
Required Skills
- A bachelor’s degree in mechanical or aerospace engineering
- A minimum of five (5) years of proven experience in Repairs for the aerospace industry (In-service, MAP/MRB).
- Good knowledge of CATIA V5, Enovia and PLM configuration.
- Excellent knowledge of aircraft structure.
- You are comfortable in questioning aircraft structure repairs.
- You have strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- You are an upbeat person with excellent communication and interpersonal skills, a high sense of dedication, and a willingness to accept responsibilities while acting independently in a fast-paced partner/supplier team environment.
- MS Office software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).
- You have excellent written and spoken, communication skills in English. French is an asset.
- Having detailed knowledge of airline operation, engineering and maintenance is an asset.
