 CoRe Procurement – one of seven global shared services supporting the Deloitte global network of member firms.

 Roles and Responsibilities:

 We are looking for a senior staff or manager-level contractor resource to temporarily join our Technology Procurement team, with the potential for temp to perm hiring. The role will focus on contracting activities in the Market/Financial Data category:

 • Applies Data category knowledge to interact with both local and global stakeholders in shaping business requirements for contracts and purchases.
 • Manages/coordinates contracting discussions serving as liaison between Business Requester, Supplier, Office of General Counsel, Risk and other stakeholders to discuss/resolve contract terms
 • Negotiates pricing and commercial terms. Draws on Data category knowledge to inform negotiations and achieve beneficial results for Deloitte.
 • Understands how to navigate across different SMEs and teams to gain cross-functional input and facilitate decisions
 • Experienced working with leadership level stakeholders.

Qualifications:

Education: Bachelor’s Degree required:
  • Procurement certification preferred
Years of Experience:
  • 3-8 years of Procurement and/or Market Data experience. Full-time employment within job history is strongly desired.

Skills:
  • Knowledge of Market Data category (at least 1 year of experience.) Can name several “name brand” data suppliers they have worked with. (Examples: Moody’s, Dow Jones, Factiva, Dun & Bradstreet, S&P, MergerMarket, Bloomberg.)
  • Strong background working with sourcing/contracting/procurement processes
  • Understands supplier contracts and has experience working with/negotiating a variety of contract templatesExperience working in a large, complex organization.
  • Experience working in a large, complex organization. Global organization experience highly desirable.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to drive coordination between legal and business and other stakeholders for contract completion
  • Organized and able to handle multiple simultaneous contracting efforts
  • Adept at virtual teaming, virtual and hybrid working environments.
