Spirit Omega is seeking an Indigenous Store Manager in Anahim Lake, BC

This is a remote location so accommodations will be provided to successful candidate.

This position is ideally seeking candidates who identify as First Nations, Inuit or Metis.  Candidates from these communities who wish to be considered must self identify. 

Our client has a Gas Station, Grocery Store, Chester's Fried Chicken, and a Little restaurant, we are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Store Manager to take the lead in overseeing daily operations and driving a culture of excellence at our locally owned service hub.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee all aspects of gas station and convenience store operations
  • Lead, supervise, and support the Assistant Manager and retail staff
  • Manage inventory, ordering, and vendor relations efficiently
  • Ensure accurate financial reporting, cash handling, and banking procedures
  • Monitor safety standards, equipment maintenance, and cleanliness
  • Hire and train new employees while fostering a strong, motivated team
  • Coordinate schedules and resolve staffing challenges
  • Uphold company policies and maintain exceptional customer service standards
Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in retail, fuel station, or hospitality management
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent organizational and decision-making abilities
  • Proficiency with POS systems, spreadsheets, and office software
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends
  • Reliable, goal-oriented, and passionate about serving the local community
