SAP SD Functional Consultant / Business Systems Analyst
Job Description
Location: Toronto (Hybrid or Remote Eligible)
- Perform hands-on configuration and support of SAP Sales and Distribution (SD) processes, including pricing, order management, delivery, billing, and credit management.
- Lead full lifecycle SAP SD implementations, including analysis, design, configuration, testing, and deployment.
- Develop and review functional specifications for enhancements, custom developments, and integrations.
- Collaborate with ABAP developers to translate functional specifications into technical solutions.
- Work closely with FI/CO, MM, and PS teams to ensure smooth integration of cross-functional processes.
- Participate in system testing, defect resolution, and quality assurance activities to validate end-to-end business processes.
- Conduct business demos, user acceptance testing (UAT), and knowledge transfer sessions for stakeholders.
- Support SAP projects and enhancements following SAFe/Agile methodology.
- Develop comprehensive test plans, test cases, and testing scenarios for functional and integration testing.
- Provide configuration, data migration, cutover, and post-go-live support for projects and change requests.
- Contribute to project documentation, training materials, and process improvement initiatives.
- Identify opportunities to optimize SAP SD functionality and improve business efficiency.
- Maintain strong understanding of SAP S/4HANA, Fiori applications, and emerging digital capabilities.
- Support Deloitte’s commitment to continuous improvement by sharing lessons learned and driving best practices across teams.
- 5–8 years of hands-on experience in SAP SD configuration and implementation, including full project lifecycle experience.
- Strong understanding of integration between SD and FI/CO/MM/PS modules.
- Experience in preparing and reviewing functional and technical specifications for enhancements and developments.
- Proficiency in developing and executing test plans and test cases for functionality testing.
- Experience supporting projects in Agile or SAFe environments.
- Excellent communication, analytical, and documentation skills with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Experience with S/4HANA, SAP Fiori, and LSMW/data migration tools.
- Basic debugging skills and familiarity with ABAP development principles.
- Working knowledge of the SAP Project Systems (PS) module, including project profiles, WBS elements, and partner functions.
- Proficiency with tools such as SAP Solution Manager, MS Project, SharePoint, HP Quality Center, and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong organizational and stakeholder management skills within large, matrixed environments.
