Program Manager – Technology Delivery & Deployment
Job Description
- Lead and coordinate cross-functional teams in delivering technology programs, projects, and deployments for assigned initiatives.
- Establish effective governance frameworks, ensuring alignment with business strategy, program objectives, and technology standards.
- Influence and foster shared accountability across all program stakeholders, including Deloitte Technology, business leaders, and Member Firms.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders to ensure alignment with organizational goals and delivery expectations.
- Provide clear, audience-specific communications through reports, dashboards, and status updates to sponsors, CIO advisors, and executive leadership.
- Drive engagement across multiple geographies, business units, and technical domains in a highly matrixed environment.
- Manage day-to-day activities of assigned projects and deployment teams, ensuring milestones, budgets, and quality standards are achieved.
- Develop and maintain master schedules, resource plans, and deployment timelines using enterprise collaboration and project management tools.
- Lead issue and risk management efforts—identifying potential challenges, driving remediation plans, and escalating as needed.
- Conduct ongoing program reviews to ensure compliance with methodologies, budgets, and governance processes.
- Oversee deployment planning and execution for implemented solutions across Deloitte Member Firms.
- Develop deployment artifacts, go-live readiness assessments, and post-implementation success tracking.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to optimize deployment value, minimize disruption, and ensure adoption of new solutions.
- Manage program budgets, forecasts, and variance reporting; take corrective actions to maintain financial health.
- Demonstrate financial acumen by optimizing resource allocation and maximizing return on investment.
- Track and report on delivery metrics and value realization for completed initiatives.
- Stay current on leading practices in program management, deployment methodologies, and delivery frameworks (Agile/SAFe).
- Support continuous improvement of delivery and deployment processes across Deloitte Technology.
- Document and share lessons learned to enhance organizational learning and efficiency.
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
- 10+ years of experience managing large-scale, complex technology programs in a global or matrixed organization.
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional delivery teams and manage multiple initiatives concurrently.
- Strong experience with SAFe/Agile methodologies and solid understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
- Experience managing programs or deployments involving ServiceNow or other enterprise platforms.
- Excellent leadership, communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Demonstrated expertise in financial management, budgeting, and value tracking.
- Experience working with onshore/offshore delivery teams and external partners.
- Minimal travel required; role is primarily remote with occasional on-site collaboration.
- PMP, PgMP, or SAFe certification.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to influence decision-making and drive alignment in a highly matrixed organization.
- Proven track record of improving delivery processes and outcomes through innovation and best practices.
