Job Summary:
We are seeking a motivated and resourceful Recruiter to work in our Calgary office. The ideal candidate will have previous experience working in a recruitment agency and be responsible for identifying, attracting, and hiring top talent to meet our clients staffing needs.
Job Description:
- Collaborate with hiring managers to define job requirements and desired candidate profiles.
- Source candidates through various channels, including job boards, social media, networking events, and employee referrals.
- Screen resumes, conduct interviews, and assess candidates’ skills and cultural fit.
- Coordinate and schedule interviews between candidates and hiring teams.
- Negotiate job offers, contract terms, and other employment related conditions.
- Manage and maintain the applicant tracking system (ATS).
- Create and post job advertisements on internal and external job boards.
- Communicate effectively with candidates throughout the hiring process.
- Build a strong talent pipeline for current and future hiring needs.
- Attend and participate in events for networking and business development
Qualifications:
- Minimum 2-5 years full-cycle recruitment experience with strong staffing and/or customer service experience
- Previous involvement with Indigenous organizations and communities is an asset.
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Office applications
- Preference will be given to candidate with Agency Recruiting Background
- Tech Savvy, social media expertise and strong ATS skills are required
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
- Ability to build and strong relationships with people at all levels of an organization
- Must be authorized to legally work in Canada
- Positive working attitude with exceptional organizational and leadership skills
