This is a business-facing IT leadership role—ideal for candidates who can combine SAP expertise with supply chain process knowledge to drive measurable value and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

Solution Delivery & Functional Leadership

  • Provide guidance and mentorship to consultants and analysts, building a high-performing functional team.
  • Own supply chain workstreams, managing deliverables, timelines, and quality standards.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for solution design, issue resolution, and escalations.
Business Process Enablement
  • Translate complex supply chain requirements into scalable SAP solutions.
  • Conduct fit-gap analysis, process mapping, and solution prototyping.
  • Facilitate workshops, training, and knowledge transfer for end users and business process owners.
  • Ensure supply chain processes meet compliance, governance, and regulatory standards.
  • Partner with business leaders to identify opportunities for process improvement and transformation.
Project & Agile Delivery
  • Collaborate with project managers, scrum masters, and cross-functional teams to deliver on time and within scope.
  • Participate in agile ceremonies and project planning sessions.
  • Support testing, defect resolution, and cutover planning.
  • Track progress, manage risks, and report on workstream outcomes.
Continuous Improvement & Thought Leadership
  • Stay current with SAP S/4HANA supply chain innovations and industry best practices.
  • Promote process excellence and innovation within the SAP and OPG supply chain community.
  • Share lessons learned and contribute to knowledge development across teams.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Business, IT, or related field.
  • 8+ years of SAP SCM functional consulting experience (MM, SD, PP, WM, EWM, or Ariba), including configuration and implementation.
  • Proven leadership in SAP S/4HANA or ECC solution delivery, with integration to other SAP and third-party systems.
  • Strong knowledge of supply chain operations (procurement, inventory, logistics, planning, fulfillment) and compliance requirements.
  • Demonstrated team leadership, mentoring, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Familiarity with SAP Activate methodology and agile delivery frameworks.
  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
  • SAP SCM certifications are an asset; exposure to SAP Fiori, SAP Analytics, and data migration tools is preferred.
Key Competencies
  • Functional leadership across SAP SCM modules
  • Business process optimization and transformation mindset
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and communication
  • Agile delivery and ERP program execution
  • Governance, risk, and compliance awareness
  • Continuous learning and knowledge sharing
