Role Overview
We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Solution Architect (Cloud, Integration & OT Systems) to lead the design and delivery of complex, enterprise-scale architecture solutions across business, application, data, cloud, and operational technology (OT) environments.

This role is critical to modernizing legacy platforms, enabling secure and scalable system integrations, and supporting regulated nuclear and manufacturing operations. The successful candidate will act as a technical authority, guiding architecture strategy while working closely with business and technical stakeholders to ensure solutions are resilient, secure, and aligned with organizational objectives.

Key Responsibilities
Architecture & Solution Design
  • Design end-to-end solution architectures aligned with business goals, technology strategy, and regulatory requirements.
  • Architect and govern API-based integrations to enable seamless data exchange across enterprise and OT platforms.
  • Lead the transition from monolithic applications to service-oriented and microservices architectures, including containerization.
  • Define and enforce architecture standards, patterns, and best practices across delivery teams.
Cloud, Integration & DevOps
  • Architect scalable, secure, and highly available Microsoft Azure solutions, leveraging native Azure services.
  • Implement DevOps and CI/CD practices to improve software quality, deployment velocity, and operational reliability.
  • Collaborate with infrastructure, security, and development teams to ensure cloud solutions meet compliance and security standards.
Operational Technology (OT) & Manufacturing Systems
  • Design and integrate SCADA and PI systems to support real-time operational visibility and decision-making.
  • Architect solutions that bridge IT and OT environments, ensuring reliability, safety, and data integrity.
  • Support technology initiatives within nuclear and manufacturing environments, adhering to strict regulatory and operational requirements.
Modernization & Application Development
  • Lead modernization efforts for legacy systems (Visual Basic 6, Centura, Gupta) to contemporary platforms and frameworks.
  • Guide teams in the use of modern technologies including Angular, React, .NET, SQL, and advanced data platforms.
  • Enhance user experiences through the design of responsive, high-performing web applications.
Data, Analytics & Innovation
  • Architect enterprise data platforms to support analytics, reporting, and data-driven decision-making.
  • Enable the integration of Business Intelligence and Artificial Intelligence tools to deliver actionable insights.
  • Ensure data solutions are scalable, secure, and aligned with enterprise data governance standards.
Leadership & Stakeholder Engagement
  • Serve as a trusted technical advisor to business leaders and delivery teams.
  • Translate business requirements into clear, actionable technical designs.
  • Provide technical leadership, mentorship, and architectural oversight across project teams.
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation for architecture designs, standards, and solution decisions.
Enterprise Systems Integration
  • Oversee SAP solution architecture, integration, and alignment with existing enterprise platforms.
  • Ensure interoperability between SAP, cloud services, OT systems, and downstream applications.
Qualifications & Experience
Required
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in solution design and enterprise architecture roles.
  • Proven experience as a Solution Architect delivering large-scale, complex solutions.
  • Strong expertise in:
    • Microsoft Azure architecture and cloud-native services
    • API design and integration platforms
    • DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and containerization
    • Architecture patterns (microservices, MVC, service-based architectures)
    • SCADA systems and PI solutions
  • Hands-on experience with Angular, React, .NET, SQL, and modernizing legacy applications.
  • Experience working within nuclear, manufacturing, or highly regulated environments.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.
Preferred / Desirable
  • Industry certifications such as:
    • Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert
    • SAP Certification
    • Certified Cloud Security Professional (CCSP) or equivalent
  • Experience with enterprise data platforms, BI tools, and AI-enabled solutions.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence architecture strategy at an enterprise level.
