Supply Chain & Logistics Specialist - Trucking
Job Description
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. (Some flexibility)
- Act as the first point of contact with third-party carriers to coordinate bulk fuel deliveries.
- Monitor trucking operations to ensure timely, accurate, and safe execution of deliveries.
- Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders and carrier partners, maintaining clear communication by phone and email.
- Develop, maintain, and analyze operational reports using Excel (intermediate–advanced level) and Power BI.
- Utilize SAP (or similar ERP systems) to extract, validate, and reconcile operational data.
- Identify process gaps, map workflows, and recommend improvements to enhance efficiency and service reliability.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives across trucking operations.
- Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (formulas, pivot tables, data analysis) and Power BI reporting.
- Working knowledge or exposure to SAP and logistics/ERP systems.
- Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Effective communicator with the ability to manage multiple stakeholders.
- Knowledge of data flow and process mapping an asset.
- Post-secondary education in business, supply chain, logistics, or related discipline preferred.
- Previous experience in logistics, transportation, or industrial environments strongly valued.
- Bilingual (English/French) is an asset.
